For giffgaff Halloween is more important than Christmas, for a brand that wants to go against everything the Telecoms market is known for this is the perfect opportunity to create content that sets it apart from the rest.
Even though they are different they still use the same ad formats that everyone else does and in this case, it was a Facebook Canvas.

A Facebook canvas can sometimes be a dry proposition and you see brands use them almost in the exact same way. What I wanted to do with this was to create something that people would enjoy playing with.
We created the “Nightmare Calculator”. This calculator will be able to tap into your deepest darkest thoughts and tell you what your worst nightmare is.
This was All Response Medias most successful canvas to date and all it took was to understand how the target audience behaves online, know the limitations of the ad format and then apply a creative that gets people clicking.
